Corruption in Cyprus is often regarded with respect and awe, fear and excitement; a perverse pleasure. The more corrupt one is the more powerful they are perceived to be. Instead, the piece 'Ball' considers such irresponsible use of power to be a petty and pathetic act, performed by individuals in positions of privilege with an unfair advantage, no less petty than stealing balls from children.
